Sam Harland
In 2005 I was made redundant from my job as a book binder at the Cambridge University Press and initially I started up window cleaning with a friend just to get by until I found something else. However, the business snowballed. I found lots of lovely, loyal customers that really supported me and I enjoyed the work. 20+ years later I am still going, with all that experience, knowledge and hands on ability to fix and clean. No job too tricky and no job too small!
Clare Harland
My Dad was a window cleaner and during school holidays, as a teenager, I would go to work with him and practise my squeegee techniques! Then I met Sam and we began window cleaning together after we got married in 2007. While we had our 3 children I mostly stuck to the paperwork side of the business, but since our youngest started school I have been back out rain or shine as Sam's sidekick! I love having a job where I can work outside and I love it when I can clean something and see a difference. I find it very therapeutic.
